Jordan Perez is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Florida-licensed physical therapist, and proud U.S. Navy veteran who brings nearly two decades of medical and healthcare experience, clinical knowledge, and athletic performance expertise to patient care.
After serving eight years in the United States Navy, Jordan was honorably discharged and discovered his passion for physical therapy through his own rehabilitation journey following service-related injuries. His personal experience as a patient inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others regain their strength, restore their mobility, and return to the activities they love.
Jordan began his career in physical therapy after graduating from Keiser University in 2017 with an Associate of Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Over the following years, he gained valuable clinical experience across a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, acute hospital care, and skilled nursing facilities. These experiences helped shape his comprehensive approach to rehabilitation and his understanding of the diverse needs of patients.
Beyond the clinic, Jordan has a strong background in competitive athletics, having participated in CrossFit, Strongman, and Olympic weightlifting competitions. His passion for strength and conditioning led him to obtain his USA Weightlifting (USAWL) coaching certification, allowing him to combine his knowledge of rehabilitation, movement mechanics, and athletic performance.
Driven by a commitment to continued education and professional growth, Jordan returned to school in 2019 to complete his bachelor’s degree in science before being accepted into the University of Miami’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2022. He graduated in 2025, completing his journey from Physical Therapist Assistant to Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Jordan believes rehabilitation should go beyond simply treating an injury. His approach emphasizes individualized care, functional strength, movement quality, and empowering patients with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in their recovery.
Whether helping someone recover from surgery, manage chronic pain, return to competitive athletics, or simply regain the ability to enjoy everyday activities, Jordan is passionate about helping every patient reach their fullest potential.
